It is the shared room of the house: the sitting room, the television and the breakfast tables. The rooms surround it, on two floors.
Light comes in from above, and the doors and windows of the rooms open onto it.
Breakfast
The msemen and pancakes are made in the house kitchen, and served at the patio table.
